New Year’s Resolutions 2013
2013. According the Mayan calendar, this year was never supposed to happen. But hey, we’re here! Inspired by a new year, new beginnings, and a fresh start (or perhaps more like the muffin top poking out over our waistlines, the unread books sitting in the corner of the living room where the Wii has taken over, or the lingering hangover that reminds us why we stay away from tequila), many folks decide it’s time to make resolutions.
Malware Warning Resolved on GirlsAskGuys – Dec. 30, 2012
Hello, GirlsAskGuys members! You may have seen this when you tried to access GirlsAskGuys.com today:
No need to panic!!
We have been looking into this issue, and have identified the cause. It was due to an advertisement that started running this morning. We immediately stopped this campaign and cancelled the advertiser.
Rest assured – GirlsAskGuys has no virus or threats. We apologize for the inconvenience and the annoyance. We have contacted Google to remove this warning, and it should be corrected shortly. In the mean time, simply click on “Ignore this warning.”
To avoid this occurrence in the future, we will have a longer approval period for new advertisements, especially for new companies that we start working with.
Again, our apologies, and we appreciate your patience while we resolve this issue.

What Are You Thankful For?
In the spirit of the holidays, many take the 30 days of November to reflect on what they’re thankful for. My Facebook newsfeed is often filled with friends and family members taking time out of their day to show gratitude. So, I have decided to take a few minutes to make my own list.

Secret Single Behavior
Secret Single Behavior. Defined by Carrie Bradshaw as what you do in the privacy of your own home (where you live alone) that no one you’ve ever dated (or are currently dating) knows about! GirlsAskGuys knows how potentially embarrassing it can be if you’re significant other discovered your SSB, but we want to hear from you!

What is the GirlsAskGuys Notebook feature?
What is the “Notebook” feature?
I often hear questions about various features on GirlsAskGuys, one being the “Notebook” feature. What is it? It’s like a bookmark – it “saves your place” on GirlsAskGuys. My Notebook is a feature that allows you to save questions, answers and stories for later review.
If you land on a question, answer, story, or article, and want to save it for any reason (perhaps you don’t have time to respond at the moment, or maybe you’ll want to refer back to it in the future), simply click on “Note This” near the title. This will automatically save in your Notebook.
To access your Notebook:
1. Sign in to your account
2. Click on the Home page
3. Click on the tab “Account” next to your username
4. Click on the tab “Notebook.”
Don’t be shy about using this feature! It’s a great tool for navigating the site!

What Hurricane Sandy Can Teach Us About Relationships
As Hurricane Sandy swept through the East Coast this week, I thought about all of my friends hunkering down in their apartments and homes – businesses were closed, power outages scattered throughout the cities, gusty winds were reported near 90 mph, extensive flooding in substations and streets. Millions of people’s lives came to a grinding halt, forcing them into natural disaster mode. GirlsAskGuys explores how that very situation can affect our relationships with friends, family, and loved ones.
