GirlsAskGuys is excited to announce a few new changes to the site! We have been listening to your feedback, and we are putting your suggestions to the test. These updates and changes will create a more positive and enjoyable GirlsAskGuys experience. Check out what’s new!
Option to not allow anonymous answers
This option gives the question asker the choice of whether or not to allow anonymous answers on his/her question. Why, you ask? Not allowing anonymous answers creates an open and honest community, and will improve the quality of answers you receive. This may also prevent “trolling” answers, and holds the answerer accountable to his/her answer.
Search preview page before posting general questions
Here at GirlsAskGuys, we know that no matter your gender, age, location, race, religion, or even policitcal preference, there are universal questions that nearly everyone has asked themselves. For example, we all want to know, what are the VERY best Flirting Tips? By referring you to similar questions that have been asked previously, you can get a comprehensive list of flirting tips that members have contributed over time, rather than just a few short answers to your own question! This will reduce the number of repetitive questions that are asked, making it easier to navigate the site, AND refer you to a question with several quality answers!
Refer to other questions
Have a question or answer, but want to refer to another question on the site? This happens often, so now we’re offering a quick and simple way to do so! If, in your question or answer, you’d like to refer to another question, simply type q:questionnumber. For example, if I want to point out something in the question Signs a Girl Likes You in my own question, I would simply type q:429943 in the text box. This automatically creates a link to Signs a Girl Likes You.
Members can now report more post types
Members are now permitted to report questions, answers, question updates, answer comments, article comments, Reality Check profiles & comments, video comments, and member profiles. By getting our members more involved, we will reduce spam, offensive posts, nonsense, and duplicate information, and make GirlsAskGuys better for everyone involved.
Moderator changes
Our moderators are an integral part of reviewing content, ensuring that it meets the standards of the GirlsAskGuys community. They now have a new icon next to their user name – an orange speak bubble. They are also now permitted to remove more content – answers, answer comments, article comments, Reality Check profiles & comments, and video comments. While Admin staff reserves the right to make all final decisions, we also support and respect the moderators’ opinions and judgment, and thus, have given them more authority.
Admin staff now have a GirlsAskGuys icon next to their user name.
We have listened to your input, and know that these updates and changes will make GirlsAskGuys a better and more enjoyable website for all!
Thanks.
