Anonymity on GirlsAskGuys

One of the best things about GirlsAskGuys is the ability to ask for relationship and dating advice anonymously. Sometimes the advice we’re looking for is too personal, too embarrassing, or just too private to share. For that reason, we offer different ways to stay anonymous on GirlsAskGuys.

Anonymous Questions and Answers

Your questions, answers, and stories will be posted on the web and viewable by the public. You can choose to ask or answer anonymously – if you do so, the content is viewable, but your profile is not associated with it. When posting a question or answer, you have the option to check the “Anonymous” box. If you would like an existing posting to be changed to “Anonymous,” please take the following steps:

1) Log in to your account
2) Go to the “Home” page
3) Click on “Questions” or “Answers” on the right side of the screen
4) Click on the question title that you would like to change
5) At the bottom of the question box, check the “Anonymous” box.

Anonymity on Your Account

We do not display anyone’s personal email address anywhere on GirlsAskGuys. Messages can be sent and received through the “My Messages” feature within your account.

You can make your profile private to anyone who is not your GirlsAskGuys friend.

To make your profile private:
1) Log in to your account
2) Go to your “Account” page
3) Click on the “Settings” tab, which is the very last tab on the right
4) Under the “Privacy Settings” section, check the box that says “Set Profile Private”
