How To Get More Answers To Your Questions

I often hear users ask, “How can I get more answers to my question?” or updates that say “PLEASE! Someone answer this question!! I’m desperate!” There are several ways to attract users to your question, and a few tricks to get them to answer.
1. Start with a title that grabs the user’s attention.
Be specific with your title. Stand alone phrases such as “Please help” or “I need a girl’s advice” are uninteresting and very general. Draw the user in with a short but specific question. For example, the question title What do you wish to understand about guys, girls? tells the user exactly what they’ll be reading and answering, but isn’t long-winded or confusing. This question has over 150 answers!
2. User proper spelling and grammar.
Although text language and abbreviations are popular amongst many, it turns many GirlsAskGuys.com users off immediately. Double check your spelling and grammar, and avoid too many text slangs or abbreviations. This can get confusing and nearly impossible to read. Using ALL CAPS is also discouraged–it creates a feeling of being YELLED AT! 
Adding paragraph breaks is another great tip to make the question easily readable.
3. Add details and be specific in the question.
Personal details, a short history, and specific information give the user more information to answer truthfully and honestly. Create paragraphs that help the user read and understand the situation. For example, the question Do you honestly think you’ll be alone forever and why? provides specific information, contains paragraphs, and adds a personal touch. This question received almost 150 answers.
4. Pump up your profile!
A few fun facts on your profile and a great profile picture will really attract users. This makes you more approachable and interesting, thus drawing users in to your questions!
5. Be an active user, and answer other users’ questions.
Ever heard the term “Scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours”? Same goes with the users on GirlsAskGuys.com. When you offer advice to other users, they are more likely to recognize your user name and offer their two cents as well. Many of the users who answer questions daily receive successful and quality answers when they post their own questions.
