GirlsAskGuys Meebo Integration
After much hard work, GirlsAskGuys Meebo integration is finally complete. Starting today, site users will see a horizontal bar at the bottom of their browsers to host the chat functionality upon signing in to GirlsAskGuys. Any friend who is signed in to GirlsAskGuys will appear in the list of friends as Available, those who are signed in, but have been idle for a while will appear as Away and those who are not signed in at the moment will appear as Offline. Of course, members can change their online statuses, include a free text form chat message status and even sign out from the Chat functionality while still being signed in to the Website. Other features include blocking a member from contacting you, which is integrated with the Website as well. If someone is already in your list of blocked members, that member will not be able to communicate with you using the Chat.
In addition to the Chat Room, which was implemented in one of our recent releases, the Chat feature will enable the site users to communicate with one another much faster and more efficiently, hence reducing the time to wait for a response if the question required an urgent answer.
The chat feature is only open to site members and the chat bar is not available until a user signs in to his or her account. Some older version browsers are not able to support the Chat feature, so I urge our users to update their browsers to a newer version. Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use have also been updated so I urge our users also to check them out.
